Albion ease their way into season with a win

Albion opened their pre season programme with a convincing 1-3 win away to Edinburgh East division side Salters AFC. As this was the first of Albion's four game programme fitness would be tested and in yesterday's heat the squad showed no ill affects. A well contested first half, with both keepers kept busy, both sides had failed to find the net, and at half time and a score of 0-0 the sides were evenly matched. An early second half goal from the home side spurred Albion on and for the remainder of the game it was all Albion. With a series of missed chances from Albion it was left to Brad Glasgow to show the way with a first class hat-trick to give Albion a well deserved and comfortable 1-3 win and set the squad up for their next friendly and Wednesdays visit to Dunbar United.

Junior Section restart

Our U9/10 and U11 squads return from holiday on Tuesday 31 July. Usual venue at Pilrig Park, usual times. Please note school is still closed for holidays, so changing rooms will be unavailable. Please ensure players bring wet weather kit.

Late change to tomorrows friendly senior fixture

Complications with Lothian stars home park resulted in our original fixture being pulled. However,last minute arrangements have been made, to now play Salters AFC at Jack Kane Centre KO 2pm. Squad are reminded that club bus leaves The Strathie at 12:30pm

The first draft of L&EAFA league fixtures are now confirmed and as follows. Season 2012/2013 almost upon us

The seniors squad have settled into pre-season life and the additional signings are all settling in very quickly. First friendly is away to Lothian Star @ Meadowmill on Saturday 28 July KO 2pm, then on to play Dunbar Utd on Wednesday 1st August again at Meadowmill.
