The incessant rain has put this weekends 19s game in doubt. In an attempt to beat the weather Spartans have reverted the fixture back to City Park. However, there will be an inspection by match official Mr Sim tomorrow morning.

Albion 19s lose in horror conditions

Albion's 19s lost 3-0 in last nights friendly v Civil Service U21s. Played at Forrester 3G floodlit complex, the weather was a major factor in the outcome. Freezing conditions, driving sleet, torrential rain and even snow, made conditions extremely poor. Albion failed to gain any momentum as they rotated substitutes every 10 minutes, just to keep players warm! Club coaches from both sides were almost hypothermic by full time.

19s Midweek Wednesday evening fixture

The U19s friendly fixture planned for Wednesday 2 February, v Civil Service Strollers U21s at Forresters 3G Sports Complex, has now been confirmed. Kick-Off is at 8pm under floodlights. Albion players are reminded to meet at the Strathie for 6:30pm prompt
