Tartan Army boost for clubs U9s
The London and South East England supporters branch of the Tartan Army have chosen Redpath Albion U9s as worthy recipients for a donation to support grassroots football in Scotland. The club has been contacted by the exiles with an offer of a sizeable donation. The Tartan Army branch officially titled, LUNNAINN ALBANNAICH (translated as London Scotland) gives two annual donations to support grassroots clubs in Scotland. The Albion are delighted to be chosen for its recognition to community grassroots football provision. A wealth of emails have passed this week between both organisations and Albion, along with a boys club in the West of Scotland, the only other club chosen by the exiles to recieve a donation, can expect further contact with details of cheque handover and media promotion, once the dual Scotland fixtures are concluded. Better news for the Sunday afternoon Fun Fours event. As the fours games can be situated anywhere within the confines of Pilrig Park, and aren't restricted by touchlines and set pitch sizes, the fortnightly event will take place as planned. Parents are reminded that player check in time is at 12 noon.
Weekend Weather Woes part 2

Weekend Weather Woes
The torrential rainfall over the last 48 hours has all but decimated the Amateur and youth fixture calendar this weekend. However, 30 miles down the coast, where Albion's seniors are due to visit Dunbar United, the home park will undergo a 9.30am match day inspection. News posted here as soon as we get it.
