Ams promotion hopes ended at Pilrig

A 2-4 defeat at home to Barca Milton AFC ended Albion's promotion hopes in a game with more than a few bizarre twists and turns. The awarding of five (5) penalties in a thrilling 90 minutes gve the big crowd plenty to talk about, but in the end, Albion ran out of steam at the crucial hurdle. A marvellous 6 game spell, which re-energised the Seniors promotion hopes, unravelled at a critical stage of the season, and even with one game left, the promotion aspirations will have to be put on hold for another season.
