Albion Seniors made heavy weather of their home fixture v Barca Milton. After outplaying the visitors in the first half, but with only a slender Alan Snedden goal giving them a 1-0 lead to take into the second period, it all unravelled in the second half. Albion dropped down a gear in the second half and it almost cost them the game after the visitors levelled with 11 minutes to go, then went in front in 87 minutes. It was left to a Flynn corner in the dying minutes to fly through a pack of players and the ball found itself nestled in the far corner to give Albion a share of the points. Both sides played some excellent stuff in difficult conditions, especially Albion, however a draw was probably the right result in the end.
The Colts travelled to the Gyle and were soundly beaten by 8-2 with Albions goals coming from McQuade and Glasgow.
