Albion U11s light up Pilrig with classy display

It was a day to remember at Pilrig Park as this talented young squad of U11s displayed a style of play that brought the "house" down at Pilrig. From beginning to end, the ease with which they stroked the ball around the big playing surface at their home ground was at times breathtaking. The passing and movement was of the highest quality at times, and the subtle touches and goalmouth finishes, were a measure of the work and effort put in by the Albion coaching team, and indeed the players. Big mention to keeper "Stacky" Miller who's shot stopping and ball handling was a big talking point among the coaches. The extra work "Stacky" and the coaching team have been putting in recently, with specific keeper coaching, was witnessed today. Visitors Danderhall, themselves full of good skilful players, tried hard to make a game of it, and gave "Stacky" a busy time in spells, but in the end the sweeping and flowing football produced by this special crop of players, confirmed their place as victors.
