The seniors promotion hopes took a dent with a 3-1 defeat away to North Berwick. 0-1 up at half time a series of missed chances came home to haunt the squad as they headed back to Leith with nothing to show for a good, solid performance. After going 2-0 down a great Osborne header and a Herrera equaliser gave Albion then a magnificent Osborne free kick put Albion 2-3 up. City grabbed a last gasp equaliser in the last minute to take the game to extra time. Albion ran out of steam in the extra period with the game ending 6-3 to City. The U10s soccer sevens squad played host to Arniston Rangers with a 10.30am kick-off. In a game of two halves, with both sides playing some entertaining football, the visitors just edged it. Better luck in the afternoon, as the 16s put their title aspirations back on track with a fine 4-0 win over a stuffy Peebles side
