Albion 11s lose out in the Saughton sunshine

Albions 11s opened the first phase of their 7s season away to Tynecastle in glorious August sunshine. The early (9.30am) kick off and the AstroTurf surface were the first two hurdles the youngsters had to overcome, but all things considered, it was great way to spend an early morning. Albion played some great football and the game was evenly contested, however, some precise finishing by the home side, and Albion taking a while in getting to grips with the artificial surface, was enough to secure them an opening day win. But for some fine goalkeeping by the home keeper, things would have been different. Very positive performance by the lads.
